Samsung introduced with new details about Google Babble, which will be integrated in Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.we're expecting to see Android 5.0 shown off in mid-2014, quite possibly at Google IO, Google's annual two-day developer conference in San Francisco.

A source close to the engineers team that is developing Google Babble has confirmed for us that the new service will come integrated in Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, the new version of Google’s mobile operating system that is expected to debut mid-May at Google I/O event. He also said that Google Babble will also be supported by all the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and above terminals.

Just like the previous rumors indicated Google Babble will be the Mountain View-based giant’s solution to unify all its VoIP, IM and video call services. For the time being Google has a bit of a problem with its messaging services. If you take a look at all their services, you will find a series of communication platforms that doesn't interact too well with each other. Google Talk, Hangout, Voice, Messenger, and Chat for Drive they are all having similar functionality, but most of them don’t communicate with each other.

Google has a lot of work to solve this annoying problem of their communications platforms, but the new cross-platform communication service developed by Google, unofficially dubbed Babble, combined with the potential of the already existing services, will allow the company to outmatch other rival platforms like i-Message or BlackBerry Messenger. Anyway, the new Google Babble was created from scratch and it will be launched synchronized with the debut of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and it will be capable of solving Google’s communication problems.

Babble will continue Google’s philosophy in terms of conversation management. It will allow the users to share files in the chat window in a similar way to G+ Messenger, initiate Hangouts with your contacts, and all the conversations are connected to all Google’s services.

With all these being said, all we can do now is wait for the Google I/O event to open its gates for the public, and look at the new Google Babble and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie for the first time.
